I wholeheartedly believe the greatest work you will ever do, will be within the walls of your own home. We have such a gift of time with our kids. Mom Moments is for all of the times I am needed as a mom, and also for the times that mom needs a moment! I would love to help you with all your moments!
It's Just Mik
It started with me just trying to keep up and find better solutions to little things that I needed for my family. I needed a chore chart for my girls that actually fit our life style. I needed a meal planner and a grocery list to help me determine what I actually needed at the store. I needed birthday invitations and loved digital ones that I could send with a text message or an email. Planning birthday parties, baby showers, and all of the family gatherings also have so many other elements that need organizing and creativity to make them special.
And then it branched into also needing a hobby. I have always loved journals and notebooks, and being able to design my own gave me such an outlet, and I could do it when the girls were asleep, or in a quiet moment or when they just wanted to craft with me. I also LOVE wrapping presents, and realized not everyone else does.
So with all of these things, I just thought I would see who else might need some help doing these things too.
My name is actually Michaela (like Dr. Quinn), but ever since I was little most everyone has just called me Mik. (Yes, spelled with a 'K'. My dad and I seem to have a thing for letters). I am a wife and a mom and it's my most favorite thing I could ever do. I like Sherlock and Star Trek. I love game nights, movie nights, and line dancing. I love learning, creating and geek out over cool gadgets and work arounds that make things efficient! I am an INTJ personality, which a lot of times ends up being the villian in movies. But Lord Elrond in Lord of the Rings was a great example of a hero INTJ and I think that's a great picture of my personality (a bit more sarcasm though). But most of all I love my Jesus!
I love to help people and love to accomplish goals. I've done lots of one off custom projects at this point to help meet a personal need in people's life, so don't be afraid to ask! I also will have a small inventory of things to choose from as I explore this hobby of mine and can't keep everything lol. But think of me like this, I'm a Jill of all trades. I'd love to help you if I can Mama, with just about anything.

Tear Away Notepads
From scratch pads to meal planners to grocery lists to calendars to chore charts and more, I like to make things easier in my life! And sometimes it means having that tool handy on my fridge ready to be used, and reused! I have made small scratch pads, 8.5" x 11" meal planners and custom 11" x 17" calendars. Custom Projects!
I have had so much fun experimenting with journals! I have always loved writing and a unique journal/notebook. So far, for 8.5" x 11" notebooks, I have made some some with multiple subjects, a dream journal and tracker, a notebook for church notes and daily quiet times, and a custom recipe book amongst others.

Present Wrapping!
One of the things that got me hooked into making things myself was digital party invitations! I don't want to print them out and mail them myself. I have found some great apps that let me upload my own design and send out invitations digitally that I just adore. But then I also liked having just the digital invitation to text or email people directly.
Then for things like baby announcements, wedding invitations, those kinds of things - I could print them out if I wanted to.

Another thing I love to do is wrap presents! At Christmas time, my table is converted to a wrapping station for sure! I try to put out a date or 2 that I plan on wrapping for Christmas presents, but if you ever need a birthday present, baby shower present, whatever - wrapped during the year, I'd be happy to do that for you too!6

Needing a girls night? Let's make journals together! I'll bring supplies for you and your girls to make your own custom 5x7 journal covers and some journal paper to go inside. We will walk through the process toether. And when you're ready, we will bind it together so that you all leave with a custom journal and new memories!
